PROGRAM: During the cruise, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, learn about the history and culture of Ancient
Egypt, and visit interesting places.
Day 1:
• Visit to the Karnak Temple complex (City of the Living). Karnak Temple is one of the largest open-air
museums and one of the largest ancient religious buildings in the world.
• Transfer and accommodation on the ship, lunch (buffet),
• In the afternoon visit to the Luxor Temple. The temple was erected during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III,
the embodiment of the architectural features of the New Kingdom, large-scale processions were held here, which moved
along the alley connecting the temple in Karnak with the Luxor temple.
• Dinner at 20:00, free time.
Day 2:
• Breakfast at 8:00,
• Colossi of Memnon (Valley of the Dead). In ancient times, colossi were called “singing”, as these statues emitted a long
thin ringing.
• Temple of Queen Hatshepsut – Queen-Pharaoh Hatshepsut ruled Egypt for 23 years, the period of her reign is considered the heyday of
the culture and arts of Ancient Egypt.
• Valley of the Kings – dozens of tombs were dug here between the hills for the rulers of different dynasties (from the XVIII to the XX
dynasty – from the XVI century BC). The most famous tomb belongs to Tutankhamun, the last of the pharaonic dynasty.
• Lunch,
• Departure to Edfu and dinner on the ship.
Day 3:
• Breakfast at 8:00;
• Visit the Temple of the god Horus, the falcon-headed god, in the city of Edfu. According to legend, the temple was built in honor of the victory of the god Horus
over the God of Evil Set,
• Then departure to the city of Kom Ombo,
• Lunch 13:00,
• In Kom Ombo visit the Temple of the god Sobek – the temple is dedicated to the two gods Sobek (the god of water and the flood of the Nile) and Horus (the god of the sun
and sky), usually the temple was erected in honor of one god, but this sanctuary was built during the reign of the Ptolemies, after the conquest of
Egypt by Alexander the Great.
• Departure to Aswan and dinner, entertainment program.
Day 4:
• Upon arrival in Aswan, there is an opportunity to visit Abu Simbel early in the morning at 5:00 am on a comfortable bus to the
Temple of Ramses II in Abu Simbel. The road will be about 3 hours, sightseeing of the temple 2 hours and the way back to Aswan on the liner.
A trip to Abu Simbel is paid additionally, optionally, + $ 50 for an adult and + $ 25 – the price is valid when booking,
it will be more expensive on the spot.
• Lunch at 13:00,
• Visit the Aswan High Dam and the Lotus Monument (erected in honor of Egyptian-Soviet friendship),
• Crocodile Village,
• The Temple of the Goddess Isis on the island of Philae is the most surviving part of the architectural complex. During the visit, you can
see various bas-reliefs depicting sacrifices to the Egyptian gods.
• Dinner and national show program.
Day 5:
• Breakfast at 7:00,
• Return back to Hurghada,
• Arrival at the hotel at approximately 21:00.
