PROGRAM:
DAY 1: An action-packed historical trip featuring the Sphinx and the famous Pyramids of Giza, the traditional art of
the Pharaohs in Cairo.
• The Great Sphinx – a mythical figure with the head of a man, the body and paws of a lion, the tail of a bull and the wings
of an eagle, carved from a limestone monolith,
• Pyramisa Giza ancient complex includes three large pyramids of Cheops, Menkaure, Chephren and small satellite pyramids
– tombs for members of the pharaonic family,
• National Cairo Museum – a unique opportunity to visit the Hall of Treasures of Tutankhamun,
• Boat trip on the Nile River (optional 10 $),
• Lunch (buffet),
• Papyrus Institute, oil factory,
• Transfer to the hotel, free time and dinner.
DAY 2: Alexandria – in this unique city you will visit the fortress of Qait Bay, the Monteza Palace, the Roman amphitheater and
the National Library of Alexandria.
• Departure from Cairo at 7 am, breakfast (packed lunch),
• Monteza Palace Park – the summer residence of the last king of Egypt, Farouk, the palace is located in a magnificent location,
surrounded by palm trees.
• Roman Amphitheater – was discovered by accident, during the construction of a building on a vacant lot in 1959.

• Fortress Qait Bay – Naval Museum, with exhibits from the Roman Empire and Napoleonic structures.
• The Library of Alexandria is a unique building with a repository for 8 million books, a laboratory for the
restoration of manuscripts, a planetarium, three museums, and 4 art galleries.
•Dinner.
