A fascinating journey into the world of Ancient Egypt.
DAY 1:
• In Edfu, visit the temple of the god Horus – the temple was erected in honor of the glorified god of the sun and sky in the form of a falcon.
• Arrival in Aswan and lunch on the banks of the Nile;
• Aswan High Dam and Lotus Monument,
• Walk along the Nile River,
• Temple of the Goddess Isis on the island of Philya. During the visit, you can see various bas-reliefs depicting
sacrifices to the Egyptian gods.
• Check-in at the hotel, free time and dinner.
DAY 2:
• Departure from the hotel in Abu Simbel, at about 4 am (breakfast on the way). Travel time approximately 3 hours,
• Visit the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Small Temple of Nefertari. The Temple of Ramses II is
the heritage of an ancient civilization, built in honor of Pharaoh Ramses II and dedicated to the gods – Amun Ra and Ptah. Above the entrance to the sanctuaries of the temple of Nefertari is carved the inscription
“To the one for whom the sun shines.”
• Lunch, return to Aswan.
