  • Temple of Hathor at Dendera, one of the surviving late temples of the Hellenistic period. In Egyptian mythology Hathor is the goddess of the sky, love, femininity, beauty and fertility.
  • Karnak Temple complex (the City of the Living), one of the largest open-air museums and ancient religious sites in the world
  • Boat ride on the Nile and lunch
  • Colossi of Memnon (Valley of the Dead): two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III that once guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple, which over 2,000 years was completely destroyed
  • Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, where colorful reliefs of gods and events from her reign are preserved inside the mortuary temple
