About this tour

A day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Luxor by plane. The flight takes about 1.5 hours.

  • Karnak Temple complex (the City of the Living), one of the largest open-air museums and one of the largest ancient religious sites in the world
  • Boat ride on the Nile
  • Colossi of Memnon (Valley of the Dead). In ancient times the statues were called "singing" because they gave off a long, thin ringing sound.
  • Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The queen-pharaoh ruled Egypt for 23 years, a period seen as a golden age of ancient Egyptian culture and art.
  • Valley of the Kings, where dozens of tombs were cut into the hills for rulers of the 18th to 20th dynasties (from the 16th century BC). The most famous tomb belongs to Tutankhamun.
  • Return to Luxor airport

Important information

  • An Egyptian visa is required if your passport has only a Sinai stamp. The visa is issued right before the excursion, so you leave the hotel 1 hour earlier. Visa $25 plus $5 transport, $30 in total.
  • A non-refundable prepayment of $140 is required to buy the plane ticket.
  • To arrange the tourist police travel permit, please send photos of the passports of everyone traveling.
