About this tour

Mount Moses (Mount Sinai) is one of the main sights of the Sinai Peninsula. According to tradition, God appeared to Moses on this mountain and gave him the Ten Commandments. The climb is traditionally made at night; pilgrims call the path the "Ladder of Repentance". At the foot of the mountain stands St. Catherine's Monastery, an ancient complex of early Christian buildings.
